FALL INTERMEDIATE MOUNTAIN BIKE LESSONS

(Last two classes will be held at 3 Stage Mountain Bike Area)

RAD INTERMEDIATE is for ages 8 to 12. This program is for riders who have been mountain biking consistently for two or more years, and can climb and descend under control on moderately steep and flat singletracks with loose rocks or roots.

Riders must have bikes with a minimum of 24” wheels - minimum front suspension.

 Our Rad participants will be learning the following:

Braking, cornering, navigating descents with confidence, climbing steep inclines, Improving balance and stability on technical terrains, Introducing Jumping and dropping, building skills for switchbacks and tight turns, recovery techniques and precenting overuse injuries, handling obstacles and technical features on the trail, basic bike maintenance and mechanics and pushing the limits to progressing to an Advanced rider.

 *One lesson will be instructed by Coach Ryan, and will be video recorded for feedback and viewing at the end of the lesson with each participant* This recording will be sent to the parents as well.
